We must fix Medicare payments to physicians to adjust for inflation and breath life back into our practices
Rising inflation with sinking reimbursements is a formula for failure. As a practicing dermatologist, I am tired of dying a death of 1000 papercuts; administrators, support staff, vendors, suppliers raise prices year over year while we celebrate cuts.
I will work to ensure this broken Medicare system is reformed. We must work with our allies on Capitol Hill to create a solution that benefits all dermatologists!
Dermatology is being encroached upon by other specialties and independent mid levels practicing their brand of dermatology.
We must fight from the capitol to the marketing agency, to ensure that we continue to be viewed as the experts of all matters of the skin, hair, and nails! Our livelihood and our patient’s wellbeing depend on this!
We must keep our momentum going by recruiting and training the best and brightest next generation of dermatologists.
I am active within the social media dermatology community as well as within my academic department’s residency program to help ensure we train competent physicians that practice within the difficult framework of modern medicine!
